Rene Marie Russo was an American film director, actor as well as a supermodel. Rose Namajunas is one of the most successful female athletes within the UFC. She began her career as an amateur fighter taking part in numerous regional promotions before registering with Invicta Fighting Championships and later becoming a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Thanks to her accomplishments within and outside of the octagon, Namajunas has been known as a common name since joining UFC. Namajunas was a Lithuanian who immigrated to the United States. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose participated in basketball as well as kickboxing when she was growing into a young woman. Invicta Fighting Championships is her debut professional bout. She was just 18 and was a winner of two fights by submission. Dana White took notice of her performance and had her accepted into the strawweight division of UFC in December 2014 when Rose was only 22.
